Who am I?
A classically trained soprano, Samantha Pinchard has been a standout singer and actress from a very young age in educational, regional, and professional settings. At the age of 11, she was seen in Racine Theatre Guild's production of Miracle on 34th Street. This performance kickstarted Pinchard's love for the performing arts. Through her high school career, she placed in scholarship competitions as a vocalist receiving the National School Choral Award and Semper Fidelis Award for Musical Excellence.


In her undergraduate years, Pinchard was seen in mainstage productions such as Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, Street Scene, Blithe Spirit, and The Addams Family. She competed in the Wisconsin National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition for musical theatre treble voices. In 2019, she was awarded third place performing iconic musical theatre repertoire from Les Misérables, Fiddler on the Roof, and Kinky Boots. Later that year, she traveled with the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Chamber Singers performing in cities such as Frankfurt, Salzburg, Kraków, and 3 more countries. In 2020, Pinchard attended the Kennedy College American Collegiate Theatre Festival in Madison, Wisconsin where she was selected as a finalist for her costume design in She Kills Monsters.


Pinchard is an active theatre educator and director in the southeastern Wisconsin and northeastern Illinois areas. She has previously held positions at First Stage Theatre Academy and the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, both in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She currently serves at Golda Meir School in the Milwaukee Public School system as a theatre educator. Additionally, Pinchard is a lead music director with Improv Playhouse in Libertyville, Illinois and has directed over a dozen productions such as Newsies Jr., The Little Mermaid, Once On This Island, Matilda, The Lion King Jr., Les Misérables, Anastasia, and, most recently, Mean Girls. She interacts with children ages 12-18 in rehearsals, as well as in private vocal lessons.
Pinchard holds a Bachelor of Science in Theatre Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Music with an emphasis in voice. She is currently working towards a Master of Music in Musical Theatre Pedagogy from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
